If you fly into LaGuardia Airport, the place is a dump. But given the place was under construction when we arrived, I will give them credit this time. The taxi ride was one of the shortest distance ride I have ever ridden a taxi in, but was also the longest time I have rode in a taxi. Because of the gridlock rush hour traffic, it took us nearly an hour to travel about 10 miles. But for the ride through Brooklyn and into Manhattan, the taxi driver was a good tour guide, pointing out Harlem, the Bronx, and other parts of the city.
